The study was performed according to the requirements of Section
9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work
included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by
San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD).
` In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use
with a septic system.
I.1.1 Site Description
The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 132-060-02. The parcel is 8.58 acres in size
` (Plate 1). The County application number is PA-07-438. The Site is currently vacant land.
The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic map, is
approximately 28 feet above mean sea level. The land grades gently to the west.
According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department (www.co.san-
joaquin.ca.us), the Site is zoned I-L (Limited Industrial).
