Parrish has filed an appeal of the Community Development Department's approval of a Site <br /> Approval application for a 12-foot by 25-foot, double faced, outdoor advertising sign. This is one of two <br /> approved signs owned by Outdoor Systems (along with SA-99-13)that Mr. Parrish is appealing. Mr. Parrish <br /> claims that the project should be denied based on the following statements: <br /> Miles Parrish's Appeal <br /> 1. The County accepted an application for signs from Outdoor Systems despite the fact that there were <br /> existing signs on the Parrish property within 1,000 feet of the proposed signs. <br /> 2. The County declined to accept an application from Obie Media to replace the Parrish signs with new <br /> signs. <br /> 3. The County lacks a procedure for accepting sign applications when other signs exist within the 1,000-foot <br /> distance. <br /> 4.
