INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office was retained by Mr. Armando Huerta,property owner, to conduct a Soil <br /> Suitability Study for a minor subdivision to create two (2) parcels from a 4.85-acre parcel. The <br /> Assessor's Parcel Number(APN) is 103-280-24. The property is located at 11931 East Norman <br /> Avenue, Stockton, California(Plate 1). �, 2 <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was required by the San Joaquin County Development Title <br /> for a minor subdivision. The study was conducted to determine whether the proposed new <br /> parcels are suitable for septic systems and leach lines, the study was performed according to the <br /> ✓ requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. Major elements <br /> of the field work included the drilling of two 3-foot and two 25-foot exploratory soil borings and <br /> performing four(4) in-situ percolation tests. An examination of the soils,review of published <br /> soil information, geologic maps, and available ground-water information was used to estimate <br /> suitability of soils. This report presents the results of our study. <br /> II. PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The proposed minor subdivision involves splitting a 4.85-acre parcel to create two 2.425- /� �-� V/ <br /> acre parcels.
