Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> -A.-The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> incorporating proposed staff and animal use indicating that the area is suitable for septic <br /> system usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building permit(s) (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required, and a <br /> review fee of$475.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health <br /> Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$95.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.7). <br /> . State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and customers and animals <br /> ac the sewage disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the <br /> leach field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage <br /> area. This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain <br /> any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.4(c)(5)). In addition,the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100%designed sewage <br /> disposal replacement area. <br /> (�) <br /> ubmit three (3) sets of detailed kennel construction plans to the Environmental Health <br /> Department for review prior to issuance of building permit(s). The Environmental Health <br /> Department has specific requirements of kennel construction. A plan check fee of$196.00 is <br /> due at the time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> 6. <br />
