The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study incorporating <br /> proposed staff and customer use, indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. <br /> This must be performed prior to issuance of a building permit(s) (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage <br /> disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field <br /> area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. This <br /> leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any <br /> underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100% designed sewage disposal <br /> replacement area. <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department does not have a permit for the existing septic <br /> system as depicted on current site plan. <br /> C. Should applicant desire to use the existing septic system, then applicant shall uncover <br /> existing septic tank and expose existing leach lines to demonstrate that the septic system is of <br /> adequate size for the proposed project. This shall be completed under a consultation permit <br /> and inspection with the Environmental Health Department. The fee for the consultation <br /> permit is $186.00. <br /> D. Submit three (3) sets of food facility plans to the Environmental Health Department for <br /> review and approval prior to issuance of building permit(s) (California Health and Safety <br /> Code, Section 113915). <br /> Page 1 of 2 MH:ce <br /> i6to qAil <br />
