Such sampling and analysinot warranted with the continued use of the land for agricultural proposes. i o ,SNS Because no staining was observed in the vicinity of the transformers, the transformers are not considered an environmental threat to the subject property at this time. Should the property owners V. or the EHD be concerned about PCB contamination from the transformers, PG&E should be contacted to test,retrofit,or replace the transformers. on Any wells identified which will not remain in use mould be abandoned under EHD oversight. The underground petroleum storage tank shohld be checked for leaks by qualified processionals if it is r,. to remain on the subject property. 4ql�- �. 6.0 LIMITATIONS This report was compiled as a Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report for the subject property. 1 This report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way warrants the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources. It should be noted that when an environmental assessment is completed without sample collection and quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site,as in this study,no statement of scientific certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be the result of on-site or off- site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report are not rscientific certainties, but rather, probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of the data gathered during the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site or adjoining land contains no hazardous waste,oil,underground storage tanks,or other latent condition beyond that detected or observed by NOA during the Surface and Subsurface assessment. The possibility always exists for contaminants to migrate through surface water, air,or groundwater. Our office has not been provided with specific criteria for the development of this report other than a request to evaluate the property in question for possible problems related to toxic or hazardous agents, nor have we been directed to address any specific questions concerning the site. Should there be a need to conduct an investigation into a specific question not addressed in this report, contact our office immediately regarding your concerns. 13
