Parcel A to contain one acre <br /> and Parcel B to contain 19 acres, on the north side of River Road. 640' west <br /> of Seaton Road, west of Escalon. <br /> Planning considerations: The Planning Department introduced a written report <br /> into the record and recommended dental of the map. <br /> Staff noted that a letter had been received from a neighboring property owner <br /> in objection to establishing homesites in the area. <br /> Mr, ?hangs noted that the proposal is to retain the homesite and sell the <br /> balance of the land (the ranch). <br /> PWLIC HEARING OPENED <br /> PROPONENTS: John Lopes and Henry De Die were present. Mr. DeBie said that <br /> he has the opportunity to sell his orchard to the owner of the adjoining <br /> property whose land is also in orchard. He does not live in the home but <br /> his son presently lives there. He keeps his equipment, motorhome and <br /> recreation room on the property. His son is not involved in the farming <br /> operation. <br /> Cotte. Carroll asked if the new owner would object to erasing the lot line <br /> "tvoPn the two archards. Mr. topes said he did not know the answer to that <br /> question. <br /> OPPONENTS: There was no one present in opposition; the letter referred to by <br /> staff was noted as being in opposition. <br /> PUBLIC HFARINC CLOSED <br /> Cans. Jungeblut asked if the owner would object to a condition waking the <br /> orchard area a nonbuildable parcel. Mr. DeBie said he would not object to <br /> that conditi(m. Comms. Berglund and Gillispie felt that the lot line should <br /> be erased. <br /> NOTION: Moved, seconded (Jungeblut-Giaobruno) and carried by a majority <br /> roll call vote to ratify the Negative Declaration and approve the project <br /> subject to the following: <br /> 1.
