This percolation testing was performed at the request
and authorization of Mr. William DeGroot.
The test holes were pre-saturated 24 hrs before percolation
testing, which commenced on October 27 , 1992 . The percolation
tests were conducted according to San Joaquin County Department of
Environmental Health regulations and were witnessed by Mr. Hector
Castro, a Registered Sanitarian with the San Joaquin County
Department of Environmental Health.
The two percolation test borings were prepared using 6" diameter
hollow stem auger and consisted of a shallow test hole 40 inches
deep, and a deeper test hole 6 feet, 4 inches in depth. The
percolation rate for the shallow test hole was required by the
County, and the deeper test hole was located by our engineering
staff for additional percolation data. The percolation test holes
were sleeved with 4" diameter perforated pipe to prevent a
potential cave-in, thus insuring test hole integrity. Gravel was
added to the bottom of the hole and placed in the annular space
between the perforated pipe and the bore hole.
Please find attached, the "Field Percolation Testing Report"
(signed by the San Joaquin County representative) , indicating the
test boring locations, percolation rate and recommended sewage
disposal area.
pe fully submitted,
QUALIT C NTROL INSPECTION, INC.
Jess ry, P.E.
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
regarding our reports or letters is reserved, contingent upon the written authorization of Quality Control Inspection,Inc.
