The tests were
performed in accordance with San Joaquin County requirements for preparing and presaturating the soil in
the test hole. After presaturation, we detennined the stabilized percolation rate. The tests for the septic
system leach fields were observed by the San Joaquin County Enviromnental Health Department as
required.
As part of the associated soils report (#467-1), exploratory borings were made to a depth of 16.5
feet below the existing grade. Please see the boring logs attached for materials encountered. Groundwater
was not encountered. Storm drain percolation test results are as follows:
Test De th Percolation Rate Observed Absorption Rate
A 7.5 ft 1.81 min/inch 71.1 gal/fe/day
B 6.0 ft 1.74 rnin/inch 74.0 gaFfelday
The Observed Absorption Rate is the measured rate and does not include any reduction factor.
The material encountered at the tested depths was a light brown sand.
Storm Drain Location Storm Drain Design Depth Desi an Absorption Rate
A-Intermediate Pond 7.5-10 below (E)natural grade 35.6 gal/f /day
B -Existing Basin (E) to 31 below(E)grade of basin 37.0 gaUft/day
Design Absorption Rates include a reduction factor of 2.
Percolation rates for septic system design are given below, Systems should be designed in accordance
with San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department requirements.
Septic System Location Test Depth Percolation Rate
Test#1 —East Location 42" below a/inch
Test#2—West Location 42" below E ade 1.70 min/inch
Respectfully Submitted,
1,:'"QROFCSSlONq
S
Abel R.
