July 27 , 1992 I
LI ry
JUL 2 x 1992
COAOAUNIT C'c:cL;r,,,_. .
H . Elmer and Diana M . Muller PLANNI'NG DMSIC;;N
3900 S . Roberts Rd .
Stockton , CA 95206
Re: T . & C . WITT
MS-92-133
Mr . Richard Larrouy
San Joaquin County Planning Division
1810 E . Hazelton
Stockton, CA 95205
Dear Mr . Larrouy:
I am in opposition to the plan of a minor subdivision on the
Ted Witt ranch, MS-92-133 as it currently stands .
I am in opposition to Mr . Witt taking a 10 acre parcel to
build a home . As the plan currently is proposed, it is only
y- designed to facilitate the sale of ranchettes in what is
currently an exclusive production agriculture community.
Population increases in between producing farms limit our ability
to produce . We have two suburbs directly across the San Joaquin
River to the east which already places some restrictions on
specific aerial applications .
I am categorically opposed to any adulteration of our
current greenbelt zone at this time . Furthermore, there is
already two family dwellings on the Witt Ranch, one , the original
Witt home which has already been split off into a small separate
parcel and two , another single family home which Mr . Witt
currently uses as a rental and not employee housing .
if Mr . Witt truly wants to build a new homesight, he has
enough land to do so or he can use his existing home . I see no
need to further subdivide this property as it has already been
split once . Financing is not a valid excuse to subdivide .
Therefore, I am in strong opposition of this proposal . Please
advise me of any further proceeding on this matter.
Sincerely,
H . Elmer Muller
-23-
