Rond Road Page 7 Our Project Number: E07025A March 15, 2007 The subject property was observed to be an "L" shaped parcel with a vineyard, irrigation ditches, and dirt roads. On the north side of the property is a pump and a sand filter system. On the southeast corner there are debris and dirt piles, containing metal and tires. A portable aboveground storage tank was located on the property, minor soil staining was observed. Eight pole-mounted transformers were observed on, or adjacent to the property. Only two of the transformers had blue PCB-free stickers. No staining was observed in the vicinity. Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of the subject property was Beaver Slough and agricultural land. To the south was Peltier Road, then a vineyard. To the east was Rond Road, then vineyard. To the west was vineyard and alfalfa. Northeast of the parcel was a dairy with ponds. 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: • Agricultural chemicals, including paraquat dichloride and methomyl, have been applied to the subject property. 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: • Agricultural chemicals continue to be applied on the property. • Debris piles are located on the property. 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: • Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past; agricultural chemicals may have been applied to these properties. 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: • Surrounding properties are used for agriculture; agricultural chemicals may be applied to these properties.
