(3) One bicycle parking rack or storage device is required for every 20 parking spaces. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.7) <br /> e. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be <br /> installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover <br /> beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, <br /> provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) <br /> f. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) A minimum ten-foot-wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of-way width <br /> of Filbert Street , shall be installed across the frontage of the project site. <br /> (2) All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, walkways, approved outdoor <br /> storage areas, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. <br /> (3) Outdoor storage areas shall be surfaced with a minimum of 4 inches of road base or <br /> similar material approved by the Community Development Department. <br /> (4) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from traffic <br /> and kept mowed and dust free. (Development Title Section 9-1020.) <br /> (5) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.6 of the <br /> Development Title. The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five <br /> percent of landscaping within the perimeter of the parking area, not including <br /> landscaping along the street frontage. Ten trees shall be planted and evenly spaced <br /> throughout the parking lot. (Development Title Section 9-1020.6) <br /> g. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall be <br /> enclosed by a screen six to eight feet in height. Items stored within 100 feet of a <br /> dedicated street or residential zone shall not be stacked higher than two feet above <br /> the adjacent screen. (Development Title Section 9-1022.4[e][2][A]) <br /> ti. MERGE PROPERTIES: All parcels of this project shall be merged prior to issuance of <br /> building permits. A Merger application shall be submitted prior to, or concurrently with, <br /> submittal of the Building Permit application. <br /> 2.
