b. All private roads involved in an excavation shall be maintained so as to control dust. <br /> c. Traffic warning signs are to be installed at the intersection of Henry Road and Santa Fe Road. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1415.3) <br /> d. A video tape of the planned haul route shall be provided to show the condition of all County <br /> roads. The condition of San Joaquin County maintained roads along the haul route shall be <br /> reviewed with the Department of Public Works prior to the start of excavation. (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1415.2) <br /> e. Loads on all public roads shall be restricted to legal loads only. (Street and Highway Title Section <br /> 10-2350) <br /> f. An encroachment permit shall be required for work within the Santa Fe Road right-of-way. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1145.4) <br /> g. A cash deposit or acceptable security in an amount acceptable to the Department of Public <br /> Works shall be filed with the Department with a guarantee that if the permittee fails, refuses, or <br /> neglects to repair, under permit, any damages to any County roads along the haul route that may <br /> result from the permittee's operation, the Department of Public Works may do the work necessary <br /> to restore County roads along the haul route to equal or better than original condition, using the <br /> funds from said bond or cash deposit. (Development Title Section 9-854.3) <br /> h. A Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. The fee is due and payable <br /> at the time of excavation plan approval. The fee currently is $151.36 per trip-end in the Ripon <br /> area. The fee will be automatically adjusted July 1 of each year by the Engineering Construction <br /> Cost Index as published by the Engineering News Record. The number of trip-ends may be <br /> determined by a proportion to the length in time of the excavation operation. (Resolution R-96- <br /> 592) <br /> 5. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES (Staff Contact: Rodney Estrada, 468-0331) <br /> a. No excavation is permitted into the groundwater table without specific approval from the Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region. (California Water Code, Chapter 4, Article 3, <br /> Section 13240) <br /> b. The materials from an excavation shall not be deposited into any watercourse nor in any way <br /> contribute to the pollution thereof. (California Water Code, Section 13376) <br /> c. An approved potable water supply must be provided for all employees. (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1100.1) <br /> d. Approved sanitary facilities must be provided for all employees.
