Jennifer Jolley
San Joaquin County Community Development Department
1810 E. Hazelton Ave
Stockton CA 95205
July 10, 2019
Re: Resubmission of Use Permit Site Plan with corrections, File number: PA-1900129
Dear Ms Jolley,
With this note I am resubmitting the site maps attached to the use permit application with the additions
requested.
Referring to your notice of June 14:
1. The public restroom used by the commercial business clients is in the main stables in the
central Equestrian Cluster. There is a second bathroom which is available to the public but is not
really part of the commercial lousiness in the stables in the Eastern Building Cluster. Both bathrooms
are noted on the detail of those areas.
2. The leach lines and replacement areas are similarly noted on the detail of the three building
clusters. The exact length of the lines is not noted on the plans available to us, but the location is
known.
3. There is a maximum of 23 stalls available for the commercial business. In the normal course
of business we have 15--20 horses present that are in training/boarding, with 1-3 that are boarding
only.
You had suggested that those buildings that were associated with the commercial business be clearly
identified in some manner. The building description included in the site plan legend includes a column
which identifies those buildings that are part of the commercial business (SEC). All of the vinyl fenced
pastures and paddocks are at least potentially used by the commercial clients, although in practise
client's horses are usually turned out in the four smaller(three acre) pastures directly south of the
main stables and the two (one) acre turnouts near the Western Building Cluster.
I believe that that covers all of the concerns stated. Let me know if you require additional information.
Thank you for your help in this matt r.
Margot Guis,
Sargent Equestrian Center
15757 E. Sargent Rd
Lodi CA 95240
(650) 867-7784
