-2- <br /> b. APPROVED USE: This approval is for an expansion of an existing dog kennel, to <br /> include 74 additional dogs, as shown on the Plan submitted June 26, 1998. <br /> C. PARKING: Off-street parking shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> 1. All parking spaces, driveways, and maneuvering areas shall be surfaced and <br /> permanently maintained with base material of appropriate depth and chip seal, <br /> asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete to provide a durable, dust free <br /> surface, as per the requirements for Fire Apparatus Access Road. Bumper guards <br /> shall be provided when necessary to protect adjacent structures or properties. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5) <br /> 2. A minimum of 14 parking spaces shall be provided, including 1 accessible spaces. <br /> .67 space is required for every 1,000 feet of building area. All animal enclosures, including but not limited to pens, cages, and feed areas, shall <br /> be maintained free from litter, garbage, and excessive accumulation of manure, so <br /> as to discourage the proliferation of flies, other disease vectors, and offensive odors. <br /> Premises shall be maintained in a neat and sanitary manner. Except for movement on and off the property, animals shall not be kept or <br /> maintained in coops, pens, corrals, or within barns or similar structures, closer than <br /> 40 feet from any rear or side property line.
