Therefore, an engineer is required to evaluate the foundation design. h. The proposed project is located in a subsidence area where a conventional foundation may not be suitable. Therefore, a complete soils report by a geotechnical engineer is required. i . Provide a technical opinion and report to identify and develop methods of protection from the hazards presented by the hazardous material. (U.B. C. Section 901 (F) ) 2 . A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading ' permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth material: a. A grading plan shall contain the information listed in the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70, Section 7006 (1) . b. The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the adjacent parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. C. Grading in excess of 5 , 000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading Requirements. " d. All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading plans. e. All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. f. All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments . g. All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to issuance of any building permits, or beginning of any construction. Note: This application requires a discretionary approval, (i. e. , Tentative Man, Site Approval, Use Permit) . Therefore, a grading permit will not be issued until this aonroval is obtained. 3 . The Ccnstruction Site Plan shall indicate the following: a . Provide par kine for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as close as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R. , Title 24) .
