This zone is, "established to preserve <br /> agricultural lands for the continuation of commercial agriculture enterprises." Minimum parcel <br /> sizes within the AG Zone are 20,40, 80 or 160 acres, as specified by the precise zoning <br /> (www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us,2005). <br /> The elevation of the Site,according to a United States Geological Survey topographic map,is about <br /> 30 to 35 feet above mean sea level. The land grades gently downwards to the west. <br /> r. <br /> San Joaquin County Community Development Department,the Site is zoned AG-40. The AG-40 <br /> zone is general agriculture,minimum parcel size 40 acres. This zoning designation"is established to <br /> preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of commercial agriculture enterprises" <br /> 1.2 Proposed Development <br /> 6W <br /> According to a personal interview on July 13,2005 with Mr. Renna, the proposed development of <br /> bw the land is to perform a minor subdivision to make a new 2-acre parcel in the southwest corner, <br /> within the existing 36.8-acre parcel. He intends to eventually sell the front 2 acre-parcel. (Plate 1). <br /> ..
