DBCP was detected in the water sample at
0.34 ug/L,above the maximum contaminant level(MCL) of 0.2 ug/L set by the United States EPA.
Nitrate was found at 10.9 m.g/TrNO3t below the maximum contaminant level(MCL) of 45 ;n /L-
NO3 set by the United States EPA.The analytical reports prepared by Precision Envito-Tech can be
found.in the appendix of this report
Well construction, seals, age and depth of the well scteem may play significant part in assessing the
levels of Nitrate and DBCP in various aquifers.Without knowing specific details regarding well.
construction and condition,it would be difficult to accurately comment of the condition of the
aquifer. Essentially, the water sample concentration approximately indicates the constituent
concentration level of the aquifer from wbich the well is dtai,i . It is Neil 0. Anderson and
Associate's opinion that,in,general, neat surface aquifers are zzOre likely to have elevated
concentrations of.Nitrate and DBCP than the deeper aquifers. However the contarr-mant
concentration of on.e aquifer cannot give any indication as to the concentrations of any other aquifer
regardless of proximity.
LODI M SACRAMENTO ■ MODEST O
ENVIRONMENTAL DMSION 902 Tndn4tlal Way,l-odi.Califo tip 95240 ■2(T9.3G7.370 ■ 209369.4228 rax ■vmrw.rimndc:wn.com
