Date: (Planning application referral number) The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. a. Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: 1.)Appendix III-A and 111-B of the California Fire Code. 2.)NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code. b. Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. V C. Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. V d. This planning application will require a fire access road to be completed before the County Surveyors office will file the map for record. Please contact Fire Prevention at 209-468-3380 to schedule an inspection of the completed road. e. Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. f. Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-l of Volume 2. g. Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or property C.F.C. 105.2.1 h.
