MAY 0 4 ion
Environmental Health Division tNVIRQNN
Stockton, CA445 N. San oa95201in Street €RMiri6eRV1r1r, TF,
Dear Mr . Huggins:
RE: M. S . 92-156
On March 26, 1993 , Quality Control Inspection, Inc. performed a
Soil Suitability Study for the River Valley Ranch Partners. Our
firm was originally presented with a Tentative Map illustrating the
subject parcel , Parcel No. 1, as being adjacent to the Calaveras
River. Consequently, we performed our percolation testing within
the boundaries of this Parcel .
After our report was submitted to your office and to the client,
we were informed of the fact that our firm was not provided with
the proper Tentative Map which indicates Parcel No. 1 as truly
being 450 feet north of our original percolation site.
To resolve any potential conflicts concerning percolation test
data, on April 21 our firm performed soil borings on the new parcel
location and the original parcel location to assess the soil
structure at the 42 inch depth. The soil structure was exactly the
same for both sites. Therefore, it is our opinion this indicates
equivalent percolation rates for the new parcel in relation to the
original parcel .
I have enclosed a copy of the proper map that illustrates Parcel
No. 1. If you should have any questions, please contact us.
Sincerely,
QUALITY CONTROL NSPECTION, INC.
Don Chesey, R.E.A
Environmental Engi ering Division
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
regarding our reports or letters is reserved, contingent upon the written authorization of Quality Control Inspection,Inc.
