The application must <br /> include the environmental document prepared for the project that addresses Caltrans right of way. <br /> At a minimum, documentation of cultural, biological, and hazardous waste studies within Caltrans <br /> right of way is required. <br /> For cultural studies, at the minimum, a recent record search from the information center and an <br /> Archaeological Survey Report (ASR)is required_ <br /> A Natural Environment Study report shall be written documenting the results of biological surveys, <br /> this should include a record search from the California Department of Fish and Game Natural <br /> Diversity Database. A qualified biologist should conduct surveys at the appropriate time of year to <br /> determine if listed species or wetlands occur in the project area. Surveys should meet the state and <br /> federal protocol standards.. <br /> If right of way is being dedicated to Caltrans, the applicant is required to submit a copy of <br /> Attachment A, confirming that the land to be dedicated to Caltrans is free of hazardous waste.
