No. 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi,California 95240 <br /> Phone: (209)368—4159 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject: Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report for the Green Farms and Luis <br /> Dairy property, (APN: 207-20-01), 23283 Skiff Road, Escalon, California 95230, to <br /> divide the present single parcel, being all that east one-half(E '/s) of Section Six (5), <br /> Township One (1) South, Range Nine (9) East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian into <br /> three(3)parcels. Parcel 1 is to contain about 40 acres, Parcel 2 is to contain about 182.34 <br /> acres, and Parcel 3 about 109.07 acres, all as shown on the attached "Parcel Map". <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration is a study conducted to ascertain if <br /> there are any surface or subsurface contamination sources on the above described project <br /> site and the measures needed to mitigate any threat to human health and the environment. <br /> Site Description: The project site is located at 23283 Skiff Road, Escalon, CA 95230. It <br /> is situate on the north side of Skiff Road and is all that east one-half (E '/2)of Section Six <br /> (6),Township One(1) South,Range Nine(9)East,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. <br /> There are presently no improvements on the subject property; except that in the <br /> southwest comer of the property there is an abandoned well situate south and east of the <br /> only tree on the subject property. The well is situate in an uncultivated area in the <br /> southwest comer of Parcel 1. The rest of the property is under cultivation and is devoted <br /> to the production of rice. <br /> Parcels 1 and 2 abut Skiff Road along their south boundary lines; so these two <br /> parcels are accessible off of Skiff Road. Access to the remaining property in a north- <br /> south direction is by two access roads. One north-south access road is along the west <br /> boundary line and the other north-south access road is along the east boundary line. <br /> Access to the property in an east-west direction is by four service roads. One service road <br /> starts at the northwest comer of Parcel 1 and then proceeds along the north boundary line <br /> of Parcel i and then proceeds west across Parcel 2 to the easterly north-south access road <br /> The second east-west service road is along the northerly boundary of Temple Creek The <br /> third east-west service road is along the south boundary line of Parcel 3. The last east- <br /> west service road is along the north boundary line of Parcel 3. <br /> Although not noted on the attached"Parcel Map",there are power poles all along <br /> the west side of the north-south access road along the west boundary line of the subject <br /> Green Farms and Luis Dairy, 23283 Skiff Road, Escalon, (209) 848-0481 <br /> 1 <br />
