Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site
visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D.
The subject property consists of approximately 371 acres of open land covered almost entirely by
oats growing four to five feet tall. The southeastern portion of the property is open land from
which a vineyard has been recently removed; metal stakes and wires are piled throughout the
area. Little John's Creek defines the southwestern boundary of the site.
A dirt road runs lengthwise down the center of the property. Two raised agricultural ponds are
located along the central dirt road. Four wells are located on the subject property. One of these,
near the eastern boundary of the site, is powered by an approximately 1,000-gallon diesel tank.
A smell of diesel was observed near this tank, and minor oil stains were observed around the well
head. A second tank of approximately 1,000-gallon capacity is located on the berm of the
easternmost pond. Chemical weed kill was observed along the edges of all roads on the subject
property.
10
