The Assessor's Parcel Number of the prope �e "a <br /> A parcel <br /> map is presented on Plate 1. The purpose of our studies was to deterlity of the <br /> bw property f or s eptic t ank usage. T he s tudies w ere p erformed i n general accordance w ith t he <br /> requirements of Section 9-10100© of San Joaquin County Ordinance. The following includes <br /> background information regarding the proposed development, past and present use of the site, <br /> r` existing septic tank performance and permitting, and the groundwater conditions in the project <br /> area. In addition, discussions regarding our investigative procedures and the site conditions <br /> encountered during our field exploration and the results of percolation tests and nitrate loading <br /> calculations are presented. Finally, our project limitations are provided. <br /> 1. SITE DESCRIPTION/PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> We understand that the subject approximate 10-acre parcel will be split to create a 5-acre parcel <br /> and a 5-acre designated remainder. A single-family residence will be constructed on the new <br /> parcel. The existing parcel is zoned AG-40 (general agriculture). A map showing the proposed <br /> parcel lot line with the approximate locations of the proposed house and well is presented on <br /> Plate 2. <br /> At the time of our study, the area of the proposed new parcel generally consisted of an <br /> undeveloped, unused field. The proposed designated remainder contained a single-family <br /> residence with a well and septic system and a detached garage. Several oak trees were located <br /> along the west property boundary, and redwoods were located north of the garage. The site <br /> was bounded on the south by a walnut orchard and on the north, west, and east by open fields <br /> and scattered single-family homes.
