�a .N APPLICATI6N — USE PERMIT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> FILE NUMBER: UP- <br /> Other <br /> Describe any items of historical or archaeological interest on-site(e.g. cemeteries or structures): There are no Known <br /> items of historical or archeological significance on site. <br /> Describe any on-site or off-site sources of noise or vibration (e.g. freeway noise, heavy equipment, etc.): During construction in Phase <br /> I there will be some noise associated with the building of the dock,the construction/placement of bathrooms and tent platforms, and <br /> the clearing of traits. . Phase I will require barge based construction and dredging for the drop-off dock. A small tractor will be used for <br /> clearing trails, barge based crane and a tractor/backhoe will be used for installation of pre-fabricated toilets. Phase II and III will <br /> require Barges, dredging for increased dock size,tractors/backhoes, and generators to power various power tools to complete the <br /> buildings, tent platforms, docks, and interactive outlooks and trails. <br /> 1 <br /> Describe any on-site or off-site sources of light of glare(e.g. parking lot lighting, or reflective materials used): Phase I will not have any <br /> lights associated with docks and minimal interior lighting may be provided in toilets. Phase II and III may have some lighting <br /> associated with the docks and toilets to meet safety requirements. There may be some interior lighting at night associated with the <br /> guest docking office,the caretaker's quarters,and the ronferencefinterpretive center. <br /> Describe any on-site or off-site source of odor(e.g. agricultural wastes): There may be slight odor related to toilet facilities. In addition <br /> there may be odor associated with the use of some equipment during construction. <br /> Describe any dis lacement of people that will be caused by the pLoject(e.g. numbers of people, housing units): The island has no <br /> Housing units or inhabitants.
