Mo Hatef CEQA Determination: Negative Declaration <br /> Project Description <br /> This project is a one year Time Extension request for a previously approved Use Permit application for a <br /> nature preserve, campground, and conference center to be constructed in three phases. (Use Types: <br /> Recreation—Campgrounds and Recreation— Nature Preserve) Phase 1 is to be completed in two years and <br /> v will consist of the construction of one 400-foot dock and one 80-foot dock, two 10-site camping areas with <br /> restrooms and nature trails. Phase 2, to be completed in five years, will consist of the construction of a 3,000 <br /> square foot conference center, a 5,000 square foot re-creation of a Native American village, an 8 site <br /> camping area, a 4 site camping area, a 2,000 square foot caretaker quarters and shop, a 4,000 square foot <br /> maintenance yard, and boardwalks. Phase 3, to be completed in seven years, is to construct an interpretive <br /> overlook, a 100-person amphitheater, and an 8,000 square foot education conference center. The hours of <br /> operation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (excluding camp sites), Monday through Sunday. Five <br /> employees are scheduled to operate the proposed project at full build out. <br /> The only access to the project site will be by boat.
