OAKDALE IRRIGATION DISTRICT <br /> July 27, 2010 <br /> Mr. Rick Griffin <br /> San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> Development Services Division <br /> 1810 East Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, California 95205 <br /> Re: Application Number PA-1000142 - Fairbanks Lateral <br /> APNS:;207*Z, 2°-0081Q[_9-4' <br /> Dear Mr. Griffin: <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to review this project. Oakdale Irrigation District (OID) has one (1) facility located <br /> on the project site, the Fairbanks Lateral, located within a sixty (60) foot wide easement, as shown on the <br /> enclosed project site map. Both of the existing parcels within the project site currently irrigate. <br /> The proposed lot line adjustment will create two (2) new parcels which will be situated north and south of the <br /> Fairbanks Lateral. The centerline of the Fairbanks Lateral is proposed to be the new property line dividing.the <br /> new parcels. OID has contacted Mr. Kevin Genasci, Hawkins and Associates Engineering, to discuss the <br /> location of the proposed property line. OID has requested that the property line be relocated to the northerly <br /> edge of the existing sixty (60) foot Fairbanks Lateral easement, locating the facility entirely within the proposed <br /> southern parcel to minimize the impact of this project on the facility. Mr. Genasci agreed to contact the <br /> landowners and discuss this request. As of this date, OID has not heard back from Mr. Genasci. <br /> Because the proposed northerly parcel is being developed as an orchard and the proposed southerly parcel <br /> will continue to be farmed in rice, OID foresees no other impact to its operations from this project. The historic <br /> points of delivery for the parcels will continue to be utilized as they have been. <br /> OID's conditions of approval for this project are shown below. A copy of the OID Subdivision Parcel Map <br /> Policy is enclosed for your review. <br /> 1.
