Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map <br /> and/or Certificate of Compliance approval (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental <br /> Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map and/or Certificate of Compliance <br /> approval. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> 1. Installing a Chlorination plug sanitary seal <br /> 2. Install cement surface seal around the well casing to protect the well casing sufficiently <br /> and the integrity of well grout. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
