Highway 12, Lodi <br /> The San Joaquin County Development Title Requirements listed below have been identified as <br /> pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. The Environmental Health Department received and reviewed a soil suitability study dated <br /> September 2018 (Service Request# SR0079767), and a nitrate loading study dated <br /> October 2018 (Service Request# SR0079768). The Environmental Health Department has <br /> not received sampling results of existing private water wells for the chemical <br /> Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and nitrates. The above-referenced soil suitability report <br /> stated in Section 4.3 that water samples were not taken pending on approval of the zone <br /> reclassification. This project cannot be approved without the water sampling results. <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory and the results <br /> submitted to the Environmental Health Department along with all relevant documents such <br /> as chain of custody and quality control. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1105.2 (d)(5)) <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater <br /> Treatment Systems Standards. A percolation test conducted in accordance with the E.P.A. <br /> Design Manual - Onsite Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems is required for each <br /> parcel. The fee will be based on the current schedule at the time of payment. <br /> B. Destroy the abandoned well(s) under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department as required by San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.5(e) <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department observed one Ag well during a site <br /> survey. When a well no longer functions as originally designed, or cannot appropriately <br /> function in place of another design, or has fallen into such a state of disuse or disrepair, or <br /> found to be abandoned, it must be destroyed under a well destruction permit.
