PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION
A percolation soil suitability test was preformed on the site under EHD permit No. SR0054349 on
one four-inch diameter soil boring established to a depth of three and one-half feet bsg.
6.1. SITE MAP
A site map showing the approximate location of percolation test hole TH-1 is illustrated on Figure 2.
A precise description of the location and construction of the percolation test hole TH-1 is included
in Appendix C(EHD form 42-03).The soil suitability study was conducted more than 250 feet from
on-and off-site wells.
6.2. NUMBER OF PERCOLATION TESTS PERFORMED
/d'u a-)
One percolation test was conducted on site. The rapid percolation of the test hole required the Z
performance of a four-hour percolation test.
6.3. CONSTRUCTION OF PERCOLATION TEST HOLE
On 27 May 2008,one test hole(TH-1)was advanced for a shallow percolation test. The boring was
advanced using a four-inch hand auger to a depth of 42-inches bsg. The boring was located more
than 250 feet from on-or off-site well locations. Following bore hole advancement, the sides of the
boring were scraped and loose material was removed from the bore hole. Once the bore hole was
cleared of loose material, two inches of gravel were added to the bore hole. The bore hole was then
filled with water to a depth of 12 inches above the gravel at the time of 1200. Test hole TH-1 was
covered for 24 hours to allow for complete saturation of the bore hole.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
