Temple Creek Rd. , Escalon
(Application No . SA-91-22)
I an the owner of Lot # 44 on Cherry Road which is approximately 10
acres . My lot is 1 lot over from directly behind 9500 S . Temple Creek
Road (applicants lot) .
I am greatly concerned of the application to establish a Kennel for
approximately 25 dogs at the subject address . I do not believe such a
business is at all appropriate or compatible with the zoning or layout of
these neighborhood residential lots . I purchased my property with the
intention of building a home and living in the country . I wanted to be
away from the noise of the more urban developments . I feel I have a right
to the quiet enjoyment of my property. If the applicant is successful
with his/her plans to operate a kennel for 25 dogs, our neighborhood will
loose it 's peaceful , quiet environment .
I believe the operation of such a business should only be allowed in a
more rural environment (maybe 60 to 80 acre lots) or on land zoned for
commercial business . I understand that the subject dogs bark continuously
and the noise makes it difficult for neighbors to sleep at night . I am a
very light sleeper, therefore , I will be greatly effected by dogs barking
at night . Sound sleep is very important to me because I get up very early
to commute to the Bay Area to work .
If you have any questions, please contact me at (209) 636-3382 after 6pm
weeknights or anytime weekends .
Sj,,ncerel
'((
David L ..
