` July 5,2006
NOA Project Number: E06065A
In the 1987 map, the subject property is located on the corner of 13`' and B Street. One structure is
depicted on the property. Duck Creek is located about a quarter-mile to the south. The property is
depicted as approximately 20-25 feet above mean sea level. Surrounding land is residential.
This map is included in Appendix C of this report.
2.4 Interviews
An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property
from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and
Disclosure Statement was completed by Mr.Gabriel Manzo, owner of the subject property,on June 27,
2006. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E.
bw In his responses to the questionnaire,Mr. Manzo indicated that he acquired the property in 1998 and
has no knowledge of previous uses of the property.
- 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION
3.1 Research Methods
NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the
location of the subject property,a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries,
• and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets
within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address
ranges.
3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board
L NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (April 2006), the Water Purveyors
QmarteryReport on MTBE (April 2006), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups (SLIC)list (1S`
Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)4 in
. an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release
of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile
radius of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases, and no
addresses within one-quarter mile of the subject property were found on the databases.
i
L
k
4California Regional Water Quality Control Board,Sacramento,www.swrcb.ca.gov.
4
6W ".44
L
