Major religious events are the celebration of their new
year in April and the Katin celebration in November.LTheir corigega- ion for day to-day f6ricti6iii and.,`.
E
,worship consists of 50 to'90 people.;`
The intent is to submit plans for construction of the new structures over several phases:
In Phase I it is intended to submit plans for a new patio cover within the next 18 months, which will be
constructed adjacent to the existing buildings at the west end of the site.
j In Phase 11 it is intended to demolish the existing dwelling used by the Monks and construct a two
story guest house structure where people can stay as they make their pilgrimage to the site. The site
plan is labeling this structure as the Dormitory. A portion of the rooms will be used by the Monks as
their residence. It is clear with the Monks, as Is customary with their culture, that the guest rooms
shall be available to the visitors and shall never be used as a motel by guests at any time. Within this
building shall be designed a kitchen and modest dining room.
In Phase III it is intended to construct a new hall of an estimated 5,500 square feet for assembly.
There are to be toilets available for the public within the structure. There is no intent to construct a
kitchen.
In Phase IV the plan is to construct the new Temple for services, estimated at 7,200 square feet in a
style typical for Thai architecture. The primary use is for major religious events for the congregation to
assemble.
The site shall be fully landscaped as the phases progress. Infrastructure for water, septic system and
utilities shall be incorporated in the design as the designs will require.
If you have any questions or can be of any assistance, please give me a call.
Yours ve trul ,
nthony AcevedoloK, Architect
J .
