The project expansion consists of the construction of a 4,183 square foot dormitory building to include a kitchen and fellowship hall for visitors to the religious facility. No change is proposed to the maximum number of attendees. The project site is not under a Williamson Act contract. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is on the west side of Thornton Road, 2,630 feet north of Eight Mile Road, Stockton (APN/Address: 055-200-03/11241 North Thornton Road, Stockton) (Supervisorial District: 3). ENVIRONMENTAL-DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration may be proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration will be available at the Community Development Department. APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the Community Development Department no later than March 21, 2018. Comments or recommendations received after that date would not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application. The County's Development Committee will review this application on March 28, 2018, NOTE TO SURROUNDING PROPERTY OWNERS: The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on this project. You will receive notice of the date, time, and place of the public hearing at a later date.
