Kleinfelder is committed to providing <br /> quality service to its clients, commensurate with their wants, needs and desired level of risk. All <br /> work for this project will be completed in accordance with the ASTM E1527-00 "Standard <br /> Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process." <br /> ` If a portion of this proposal does not meet the needs of Grupe Commercial Company, or if those <br /> needs have changed, Kleinfelder will consider appropriate modifications, subject to the standards <br /> of care to which we adhere as professionals. Modifications such as changes in scope, <br /> methodology, scheduling, and contract terms may result in changes to the risks assumed by <br /> Grupe Commercial Company as well as adjustments to our fees. We look forward to the <br /> opportunity to serve you. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Task 1.0 Site Reconnaissance <br /> 3.1 Conduct a site visit to observe field conditions indicating recognizable environmental <br /> conditions in connection with the property which may include for example: <br /> • Note obvious location(s) of suspected past and present hazardous substance storage, <br /> application, use, and disposal areas. <br /> • Note obvious location(s) of aboveground and underground storage tanks, pipelines, <br /> wells, transformers, and note building materials suspected to contain asbestos. Any <br /> pertinent information or helpful documents that the client has or can obtain regarding <br /> as-built drawings, environmental permits or registrations previous assessments, etc., <br /> for underground tanks etc., is requested to be made available for use by Kleinfelder. <br /> • Note facilities adjacent to the site that have an obvious potential to affect the <br /> environmental conditions at the site. <br /> • Photographically document conditions at the time of the site visit. <br /> 02002PROP.ENV/ST02PO35 Pagel of4 <br /> ..
