Since the shallow surface and subsurface soils on the property consist of silty sands and medium
sands, aerobic conditions may prevail over time which may increase the expectant life of the new
leachfield. If the leachlines are installed high in elevation, there will be a greater opportunity for
oxygen intrusion from the atmosphere, thus theoretically assisting in biomat degradation, along
with promoting evapotranspiration.
LIMITATIONS
The findings, testing, opinions and conclusions of this report are based upon information from
standard engineering and analytical test procedures, contemporary scientific literature and agency
consultations. Information in this report is deemed reliable by the sources from where it was
obtained. Results of the percolation testing should be assumed to only represent the subsurface
conditions encountered in the specific location of testing as denoted on the Tentative Map, and not
of the entire proposed disposal area for the new Chavez residence.
This report is based upon current scientific knowledge to assess factors which are extremely
variable and complex within the environment. San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department Sewage Standards have been employed for the purpose of preparing this study.
Therefore, no guarantee or warranty is expressed or implied concerning any aspect of this
investigation, the prevention of environmental impact, or related issues.
I appreciate the opportunity to provide this service for you.
