w
October 13, 2004
OA Project Number: E040109A
6.8 Discussion of Septic System Sizing
Septic System Construction should follow the San Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater Disposal
Standards where applicable.
7.0 CONCLUSIONS
6. In summary, satisfactory percolation rates of the soil were achieved in the proposed septic disposal
areas of both parcels. The parcels appear suitable for a standard septic system. We recommend that
v
the design and installation of the septic systems follow the requirements established by the EHD.
No ground water was encountered in any of the borings drilled on the property, and the depth to
ground water is approximately 100-110 feet below the ground surface for the period of Fall 1998
` and Spring 1999. The water sample collected was found to have 6 Mg/L- 3,well below the
maximum contaminant level (MCL) set by the US EPA of 45 mg/L-N 3 BCP ws not detecte
vim in the water sample. —
8.0 LIMITATIONS
` The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at the
time we excavated our test holes and performed the percolation tests. It was assumed that the test
` holes and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in
accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices. This warranty is in lieu of
all other warranties either expressed or implied. Test findings and statements of professional
` opinion do not constitute a guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied.
` NEIL O.ANDERSON&ASSOC., INC.
Abigail N,02cco,B.A. David J.
