Additional structures <br /> are located east of the property. <br /> In the 2002 photo, a residence and two storage structures are located on the property. The <br /> vicinity is similar to the previous photo. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land <br /> uses is limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> One 7.5-minute topographic map dated 1968, was obtained from Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> In the 1968 map, the subject property is depicted as open land. Grassland Road is to the <br /> north, and Tokay Colony is to the south. The property is depicted approximately 80 feet above <br /> mean sea level. Surrounding properties are scattered residences and agricultural land to the <br /> southwest. <br /> This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject <br /> property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental <br /> Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Laurelee Waddell, owner of the <br /> subject project, on December 10, 2007. A copy of the responses has been included in this <br /> report as Appendix D. <br /> In responses to the questionnaire, Mrs. Waddell indicated that she has owned the property <br /> since 1991. The property is used as pasture and a residence. No storage tanks are on the <br /> property. <br /> 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION <br /> 3.1 Research Methods <br /> NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing <br /> the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property <br /> boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine <br /> address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile.
