Due to potential high groundwater and proximity to the rivers, the Environmental Health <br /> Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank <br /> usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of deed or record of survey (San Joaquin <br /> County-Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at <br /> time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> I septic tank practice or E.P.A.
