The building <br /> would be 8,585 square feet in size and 36 feet in height, with a tower that is approximately 42 feet in height. A total of 28 <br /> parking spaces, 26 full-sized spaces and 2 handicapped spaces, would be provided for up to 12 employees plus visitors. <br /> Two parking lot driveways are proposed: one fronting on Mascot Boulevard, approximately 160 feet west of the intersection <br /> of Mascot Boulevard and Tradition Street; and the other fronting on Tradition Street, approximately 190 feet south of the <br /> Mascot Boulevard/Tradition Street intersection. A fire truck access only driveway is proposed at the intersection of Mascot <br /> Boulevard and Tradition Street. The fire truck driveway would be positioned diagonally(at approximately a 45 degree angle) <br /> to the intersection to facilitate movement of the fire truck in any direction from the station. Fire station response time would <br /> also be facilitated since the Mascot Boulevard/Tradition Street intersection is planned to be signalized and designed to <br /> accommodate signal preemption for fire truck ingress and egress. <br /> The property is currently zoned P-F (Public Facilities). The General Plan Designation is P (Public) and the Master Plan <br /> Designation is P(Public). <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located at the southwest corner of Tradition Street and Mascot Boulevard, adjacent to <br /> the proposed high school in Mountain House (APN 209-450-11). (Supervisorial District 5) . <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study <br /> and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. <br /> APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the <br /> Community Development Department no later than October 13, 2004. Comments or recommendations received after that <br /> date will not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application. <br /> NOTE TO SURROUNDING PROPERTY OWNERS: The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on this project. <br /> You will receive notice of the date, time, and place of the public hearing at a later date. <br />
