1 KLE/NF..MIN
"M.1..Fighfblufiuu
8 GROUNDWATER
' Groundwater was encountered at a depth of about 30 feet below existing site grade in a boring
drilled for a geotechnical investigation prepared by Kleinfelder at the site in October 2015. Lines
' of Equal Depth to Groundwater contour maps (2011 to 2015) published online by the California
Department of Water Resources (DWR) show groundwater levels in the project area ranging from
about 20 to 25 feet below ground surface. Lines of Equal Elevation of Groundwater contour maps
' (2011 to 2015) published online by DWR show the groundwater gradient in the project area is
generally to the north to northeast. Local gradient variations may occur due to well usage.
' The existing concentrations of nitrate as NO3 in the groundwater at the site are unknown because
a water supply well is not located within the parcel. Groundwater is not currently used at the site,
nor is it anticipated to be used in the near future for existing or proposed facilities within the parcel.
' We do not know of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination issues in the project
vicinity. There are no existing dairies adjacent to the property. Other septic tank/leach field
' systems in the project area are probably the largest contributors of nitrogen to groundwater in the
project vicinity.
1
' 20162869.001A/ST0161138644 Page 8 of 15 April 19, 2016
©2016 Kleinfelder
1
