The Environmental Health Department received a surface and subsurface <br /> contamination report (Service Request #SR0076174) dated November 2, 2016, that <br /> has been approved. <br /> B. Before any hazardous materials/waste can be stored or used onsite, the <br /> owner/operator must report to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) <br /> which can be found at cers.calepa.ca.gov/for the following: <br /> • Any amount of hazardous waste (e.g., used oil, waste antifreeze, waste solvent, <br /> waste gasoline, many waste paints/tints, some sandblast wastes, etc.)- Hazardous <br /> Waste Program <br /> • Every business that generates hazardous waste is required to obtain either a <br /> permanent Federal EPA ID Number (415) 495-8895 or a California ID Number <br /> (800) 618-6942. <br /> • Onsite treatment of hazardous waste — Hazardous Waste Treatment Tiered <br /> Permitting Program <br /> • Reportable quantities of hazardous materials-reportable quantities are 55 gallons <br /> or more of liquids, 500 pounds for solids, or 200 cubic feet for compressed gases, <br /> with some exceptions.
