KLE/NFELDER
Rtl9Rf Roph.RylitSoluMoni
4.2 RESULTS OF DATABASE SEARCH
The remaining property listings were reviewed to assess whether these properties had
environmental releases, which may have resulted in RECs in relation to the Site. The listed
properties for which a reported release may have resulted in a REC were further assessed by
performing a review of agency files available through the SWRCB's GeoTrackerTM website
(http://geotracker.waterboards.ca.govf) and other relevant regulatory agency websites, to
evaluate whether the listed release represents a potential impact to the Site.
4.2.1 Site Listings
The Site was listed in various databases searched by EDR. Database listings for the Site are
summarized below:
161 Transportation Court
• California Hazardous Materials Incident Reporting System (CHMIRS) — A spill of a
chemical "Nue Carbo-Chelate" was reported at this address on April 15, 2014. A driver
arrived to pick up a trailer and discovered the release of the chemical, which impacted
the ground, and entered a nearby storm drain. The amount spilled was listed as
unknown. No further information was available.
• Emergency Response Notification System (ERNS) — A spill of "New Carbo-Chelate" (a
natural organic acid) was reported on April 15, 2014 at this address location
(erroneously listed by EDR as "1616 Transportation Court"). which was occupied by
Schneider. This release is related to the same spill discussed in the CHMIRS database
discussion above. Additional details provided in the ERNS database indicates the spill
occurred on asphalt pavement, then entered a nearby storm drain. NRC Environmental
was indicated to have mobilized to the facility to secure the release. The incident was
reported completed on the same date.
Nue Carbo-Chelate is a blend of naturally-occurring organic and amino acids designed to be
applied to soil along with liquid fertilizer. Based on the type of chemical released, and because
the release was to asphalt pavement and reportedly mitigated the same day, the release of the
Nue Carbo-Chelate at the Site address 161 Transportation Court is not considered a REC
likely to have impacted soil, soil vapor or groundwater beneath the Site.
20172543.001A/ST016R49461 Page 16 of 54 November 2, 2016
©2016 Kleinfelder Xeinfelder.com
