The
Environmental Health Department(EHD) shall require that one of the following
requirements are satisfied prior to release of building permit(s) for the second unit
dwellings.
1. The sewage disposal field for the second unit dwellings shall be installed within a one-
hundred(100) foot radius of the passing perc-tests.
2. The perc-tests shall be reconducted within proposed sewage disposal fields with a resultant
passing rate of 60 minutes/inch or less for the shallow test and/or 30 minutes/inch or less for
the deep test.
3. Engineer-designed septic plans shall be submitted to the EHD for review and approval. The
fee for the review is $186.00.
EHD recommends an oversized leach field be installed for the septic system near the
passing percolation test on Parcel#2 due to the low percolation rate.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Lisa Medina, Senior Registered Environmental
Health Specialist of my staff at(209)468-3455.
Donna Heran, R.E.H.S., Director
Environmental Health Department
_"l 6'_" /"/S,.
Mike Huggins, Supervising R.E.H.S., R.D.I., Program Coordinator
Environmental Health Department
MH: tl
c: Miguel Anaya
SSS ltr.Rev.9-01 COPY
