Waste water quality is
discussed within the nitrate loading section of he rt.
4.0 GROUND WATER INFORMATION
L114.1 Ground Water Depth and Gradient
The San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (1998 and 1999)
ground water depth and elevation maps were reviewed to determine the ground water levels
near the Site. The Fall 1998 and Spring 1999 maps are the most current official maps available
from the county. According to these maps (Plates 3-6), ground water lies between 18 and 23
feet below ground surface and flows at a gradient of 10-20 feet per mile to the south or south-
southwest in the vicinity of the Site.
4.2 On-Site Ground Water
One domestic and one agricultural well exist on the Site. No records of these wells were
found during file review at EHD on July 21, 2004. No ground water was encountered by the
staff of Neil O. Anderson & Associates, Inc. during the drilling of a percolation test hole to a
depth of 3.06 feet on July 20, 2004.
6
