Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Division requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating <br /> winery waste, number of proposed employees and customer use, indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building permits <br /> and/or final occupancy approval (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required and a review fee of$445.00 must be paid at <br /> time of submittal to Environmental Health Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$89.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing well(s) and the proposed use may need to meet the requirements of a Public <br /> Water System as defined in the California Safe Drinking Water Act by serving 25 or more <br /> individuals for at least 60 days per year. A yearly permit to operate a Public Water System <br /> will be required by Environmental Health Division (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9.). <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to assure <br /> delivery of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Sections 9-1120.2 and—91115.9 and C.C.R., Title 22, and Health <br /> and Safety Code, Section 116525 through 116570.
