MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. 99-103 -2- SEBASTIANI VINEYARDS, INC. SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY STORAGE LAKE Monitoring of the storage lake shall be conducted at the weir at the southwest corner of the storage lake during periods of spray irrigation. During periods of non-irrigation, samples shall be collected from the lake near the intake to the weir. GROUNDWATER MONITORING Each groundwater monitoring well shall be monitored for the following: Constituents Units Type of Sample Frequency Nitrates as Nitrogen mg/l Grab Quarterly Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Grab Quarterly Standard MineralsZ mg/l Grab Semi-Annual3 Specific Conductivity µmhos/cm Grab Quarterly pH pH units Grab Quarterly 1 The Discharger may propose a reduction in frequency to semiannual after two years of quarterly data. 2 Standard Minerals shall include the following compounds: Calcium,Magnesium,Sodium,Chloride,Nitrate,Sulfate,Total- Dissolved Solids,Total Alkalinity(including alkalinity series),and Hardness. 3 Analyses shall be performed semiannually during the first two years,collected at the height of the wet and dry seasons.The frequency of monitoring may be reduced to annual,collected during the height of the dry season,provided there are no seasonal variations in concentrations in the historical analytical results. REPORTING In reporting the monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in tabular form so that the date, the constituents, and the concentrations are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a manner to illustrate clearly the compliance with waste discharge requirements. Applicable water quality criteria for each compound shall also be displayed in the tables for comparison to the analytical results. Groundwater monitoring reports shall depict the direction and magnitude of groundwater flow. The results of any monitoring done more frequently than required at the locations specified in the Monitoring and Reporting Program shall be reported to the Board.
