2.2 Proposed Development <br /> A minor subdivision is proposed to divide the Site into three equal parcels for estate��.___ <br /> purposes. No changes in use of the Site are anticipated. <br /> 2.3 Topooraphy <br /> A recent U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map was obtained from the <br /> San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the map, the Site is depicted as vineyard. The <br /> property is approximately 110 feet above mean sea level and is relatively flat. <br /> Surrounding properties are shown to be orchards;- vineyards, and residential <br /> subdivisions. This map is included as Plate � in Appendlix.l. <br /> 3.0 HISTORICAL RESEARCH <br /> 3.1 Aerial Photographs <br /> Live Oak reviewed aerial photographs of the Site provided by the San Joaquin County <br /> Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California. The available photographs were dated 1937, <br /> 1952, 1963, 1975, and 1983. Two additional photographs, dated October 1998 and <br /> June 2007, were obtained from the San Joaquin County District Viewer. <br /> In the 1937 photo, the Site appears to be an orchard. An irrigation canal defines the <br /> southwest corner and southern property line of the Site. Surrounding properties are <br /> vineyards, orchards, and rural residences. <br /> In the 1952 photo, the Site appears to be a vineyard. No other significant changes are <br /> apparent. <br /> In the 1963 photos, the adjacent properties to the west appear to be open agricultural <br /> land. No other significant changes are apparent. <br /> In the 1975 photo, commercial structures can be seen to the northeast. No other <br /> significant changes are apparent. <br /> In the 1983 photo, the Site appears to be orchard. A new residential subdivision can be <br /> seen to the north and west of the Site, and a new orchard can also be seen to the west. <br /> In the 1998 photo, the residential subdivision to the west has been expanded. A new <br /> commercial structure can be seen to the east. <br /> In the 2007 photo, the Site appears to be open land.
