Methyl F Bromide is a highly toxic compound and is persistent to the point that its half life in the soil is thirty (30) to sixty (60) days. This chemical's use could be a recognized environmental condition. F Glyphosate(found in Round-Up)is a moderately toxic compound with a half life of one(1) to one hundred seventy-four(174) days. According to the use reports it was applied to the subject property during tilt period of 1996-2001. This chemical's use could be a recognized Fil environmental condition. r i 6. Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System The San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health was contacted in an effort to obtain Fcopies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. The Department of Environmental Health could not find any records for water wells or septic tanks on the subject property, however, it was noted that this does not mean that they do not exist. 7 San Joaquin Vallty Unified Air Pollution Control District l The San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) was contacted in an effort to obtain information as to whether any agricultural'burn permits have been issued for the subject property. According to Karen Morris of the Modesto office of the SJVUAPCD, one permit of record was found. The permit, numbered 5730RN,expired on December 31, 2001. This permit allowed for the burning of"ALMOND." Fk 8. California Integrated Waste Management Board The Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) database is maintained by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). The SWIS database contains an inventory of solid waste j disposal facilities or landfills. These may be active or inactive facilities or open dumps that failed to F meet RCRA Section 2204 criteria for solid waste landfills or disposal sites. The SWIS database list was reviewed for reference to the subject property and to sites located within one-quarter(114)mile of the subject property. Our review of the SWIS database list dated May 2001 noted that the subject property does not appear on the SWIS database at this time.
