u Id
May 17, 2005
NOA Project Number: E04146B
///6.7 Discussion of Percolation Test Results
L The soils of the site have demonstrated a satisfactory percolation rate in accordance with the
requirements of the EHD. However, since ground was encountered at the depth of a standard leach
field,a raised mound septic system will be required by EHD for any future development.
L // 6.8 Discussion of Septic System Sizing
Septic System Construction should follow the San Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater Disposal
Standards where applicable.
/7.0 CONCLUSIONS
In summary, satisfactory percolation rates of the soil were achieved on each proposed parcel. The
depth of ground water was found to be 3.6 feet below the ground surface. The presence of shallow
ground water prohibits the use of a standard septic aysteLp. The Site is suitable for development
with a mounded septic system,as described in the EHD's Onsite Wastewater Disposal Standards, section
j 8.9.
L
The on-site water well was tested for nitrate and DBCP. Neither constituent was detected in the
Lwater sample.
8.0 LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
4 proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at the
time we excavated our test holes and performed the percolation tests. It was assumed that the test
holes and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
L
L
L
L
L
L 9 "004
L
